Position: Activities Coordinator
Location: Duleek care centre, Downestown, Downstown, Co. Meath, A92 DP2C
At Silver Stream Healthcare Group, we are excited to offer an opportunity for an Activity Coordinator to join our team at Duleek Care Centre.
As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the intellectual, physical, and overall well-being of our residents by developing and implementing a comprehensive activities program in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and the dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resident Well-Being: Organize activities that promote intellectual, physical, and overall health.
  • Program Development: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group activities.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of activities and participation rates.
  • Legal and Ethical Practice: Ensure all activities support residents' rights and interests.
  • Resource Management: Manage activity equipment and budget, submitting annual plans.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Adaptability: Perform additional duties as directed and suggest improvements.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:
  • Safe Work Environment: Maintain safety in the workplace and participate in health and safety training.
  • Hazard Reporting: Identify and report workplace hazards.
  • Standards Adherence: Follow HIQA standards and promote safe working practices.
