Afterschool Childcare Educator

After School Together CLG is a dedicated childcare provider based in Newcastle, Galway. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in after school hours. We offer a range of educational and recreational activities designed to foster growth, creativity, and social skills. With a focus on child-led play, we strive to make every child’s time with us enriching and enjoyable.
Requirements:

Minimum Level 5 in Early Years or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in a childcare or teaching setting, preferably with children aged 4 years and older
Excellent communication skills
Strong understanding of a child-centred approach
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality childcare and education to children in the afterschool program
Implement and adapt educational activities to support children's development
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with parents
