Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bar manager role in Ireland.
• Drive and enthusiasm to deliver high standards of customer service and product knowledge.
• A passion for food, Irish whiskey, premium gins, and cocktails.
• Experience working under pressure.
• Flexibility to work mornings and weekends.
• Fluent English.
• Reference essential.
• Must have worked in Ireland before.

Duties:
1. Staff Management

• Hiring, training, and supervising bartenders, barbacks, and other bar staff.
• Creating and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback, coaching, or disciplinary action when necessary.

2. Customer Service

• Ensuring a high level of customer service and addressing any customer complaints or issues.
• Interacting with guests to build relationships and ensure their satisfaction.
• Monitoring guest experiences to ensure a positive, welcoming atmosphere.

3. Inventory Management

• Managing bar inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking liquor, beer, wine, and mixers.
• Conducting regular inventory counts and minimizing waste or loss through careful oversight.
• Working with suppliers and vendors to maintain stock and negotiate pricing.

4. Bar Operations

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensuring the bar is clean, organized, and meets health and safety standards.
• Managing cash handling procedures, including balancing tills, processing payments, and preparing bank deposits.

5. Menu Development

• Creating and updating the drink menu, including developing new cocktails and seasonal specials.
• Collaborating with kitchen staff to pair drinks with food items or create promotions.
• Ensuring all staff are familiar with the menu and can make recommendations to customers.
