Are you a passionate and experienced chef looking for a new and exciting opportunity? The Dropping Well, located on the banks of the river Dodder in Milltown, Dublin 6, is seeking a Senior Chef to join our team. If you have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, busy restaurant or gastro pub in Ireland and a genuine love for working with the finest Irish produce, we want to hear from you.
About The Dropping Well:
The Dropping Well is a historic pub that has been extensively refurbished to provide an exceptional dining experience and breath-taking views of the Dodder. Our menu is designed to showcase the best of Irish cuisine, using locally-sourced ingredients to create dishes that excite the taste buds.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our menu, ensuring a consistent standard of excellence.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area.
Help with ordering, stock control, and minimizing wastage.
Contribute to maintaining a positive and motivating work environment.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant or gastro pub in Ireland.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on working with high-quality Irish produce.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of organization.
Creative and innovative approach to cooking and presentation.
A genuine passion for food and a desire to exceed customer expectations.
