Role responsibilities include:
- Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverage selections.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and courteously.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all drinks served.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.
- Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Promote special drinks and upsell premium brands and add-ons.
- Ensure compliance with Hyatt's policies and procedures.
- Assist in training new bartenders and bar staff.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Assisting with food service when necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years experience in a busy bar.
- Mixologist/cocktail experience is essential for this role.
- Previous experience in a cocktail bar or 4/5* hotel will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Available to work evenings, weekends.
- Reliable, dedicated and passionate about delivering high levels of service.
- Fluent English.
