Job Title : Pastry Chef de Partie
Responsible to : Head Chef
The Pastry/Breakfast Chef de Partie is responsible for the production and presentation of pastries to the Mount Errigal Hotel standards. They are also responsible for maintaining their area of work to the highest hygiene standards and to observe a proper system of food preparation and storage.
Main Duties:

• To prepare pastries as directed by the Head Chef.
• To ensure proper use of kitchen equipment and maintain personal safety at all times.
• To actively participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance levels .
• To carry out the Hotel’s customer relation policy.
• To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
• To ensure foods are correctly prepared using the proper fresh ingredients .
• To report for duty on time and in correct uniform - you may not work without it.
• To be fully familiar with Mount Errigal Hotel Hotel menus - and all menus .
• To carry out all duties requested by the Head Chef.
• To be responsible for cleaning of your work area .To maintain specific work practices i.e. use of proper footwear ,uniform correct use of equipment and clean as you go work practices.
• To notify management or HOD of accidents and complete the necessary Accident Report Forms.
• To observe all safety rules and procedures, including those laid down in the Health & Safety Statement for your place of work.

Requirements:

• IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED***
• Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef
• Currently residing in Ireland
• Hotel Experience an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility- this role requires shift work, midweek & weekends.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €25,400.00-€45,452.47 per year
