Post Specific Related Information:

"Responsible to the Chief Officer of CAWT, the Deputy Chief Officer will support and work collaboratively with the CAWT Management Board/Secretariat in planning, development and implementation of cross border health and social care policy and project delivery across the CAWT partnership. This will involve working with CEO’s, Directors, and Assistant Directors, Funders (SEUPB) and DOH Officials, as well as frontline staff, community/voluntary groups, service user representatives. He/she will act as CAWT Executive lead for major, innovative cross border projects across 2 jurisdictions (NI / Ireland). He/she will provide business advice, interpretation of Funder Programme Rules and direction to Project Board members. The post holder will manage a number of staff within the CAWT Development Centre and projects. The post-holder will deputise for the Chief Officer across a range of duties including day-to-day management of the CAWT Development Centre team as required and will be responsible for working flexibly, independently and autonomously in taking forward a broad remit working at both strategic and operational level."
