To be successful in this position, applicants must have the following:
Ø Hold a minimum Fetac Level 5 Childcare qualification.
Ø Experience ( 1 year minimum) is desirable but not essential.
Ø Be fluent in spoken and written English.
Ø Maintain professionalism in all aspects of childcare practice.
Ø Be committed to provision of a quality early childhood care and educational service.
Ø Great personal and interactive skills
Ø Excellent communication skills
Ø Enthusiasm for the position
Ø An ability to use their initiative, be friendly and work as part of a team
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe, healthy, hygienic childcare environment.
• Daily planning of activities in conjunction with Aistear.
• Working with various age groups in the centre; baby, wobbler, toddler, pre-school and afterschool.
• Working in partnership with children, parents and colleagues toward provision of a quality childcare and educational service
• Adherence to policy and procedure and maintenance of professional records
