Meade Farm Group are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our team as a cleaner, working in a food packhouse environment. To maintain the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied.
NOTE: Must have own transport as public transport to our location is not an option.
Primary Responsibilities

• Deep cleaning of production machinery, fridges and storage areas.
• Cleaning of all floors, surfaces at regular intervals.
• Ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
• Report any dangers or hazards to the Health & Safety Officer.
• Stock management and safe storage of required cleaning agents and equipment.
• Establishing and maintaining a consistent cleaning schedule in cooperation with line supervisors and division managers.
• Complete and maintain all associated records and paperwork in line with audit standards required.

Skills & Experience

• Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
• Previous cleaning experience in an industrial or factory environment would be an advantage.
• Experience of working at heights would be an advantage.

Person Specification

• Must be eligible to work on a full-time basis in Ireland.
• Understanding for the importance of safe storage of chemicals and equipment, and for Health & Safety procedures in general.
• Ability to work on your own initiative, punctual and reliable.
• Assertive with a positive attitude and ‘safety first’ mindset.
