The CNM2 in St. Mary’s Clinic takes a lead role in the monitoring of outpatients Denzepine patients, the administration of OPD Depot Medication and the taking of OPD phlebotomy and ECGs. In addition, he/she will provide an inpatient phlebotomy service and in-service phlebotomy training.
Applicants are required to have:
- Evidence of current registration on the Psychiatric division of the register maintained by NMBI or be eligible to register.
- Extensive clinical experience and expertise (a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in mental health services).
- In-depth knowledge of ECT, Clozaril and Parenteral Mental Health Medication.
- A Level 8 post-registration National Qualifications Authority of Ireland major academic award relevant to the mental health and illness
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- The ability to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to lead the change process & the ability to motivate and engage staff.
