We are looking for smart engineers with proven experience in building, operating and supporting private cloud technologies using tools like Openstack, Kubernetes, and Hashicorp Vault. We love candidates who are inventive Linux enthusiasts and want to make a difference in how we operate.

As part of our Cloud Systems team, you will be a critical part of enabling a leading international ecommerce business to succeed. You will collaborate with others who are as passionate as you are about leveraging opensource technology to solve interesting problems and providing solutions that are scalable, secure, reliable and performant.

Required Skills:

Fluency and proven expertise with Linux/Unix
Experience building and operating Open Stack private clouds, including expertise in Keystone, Nova, Ceph, Neutron, Kolla, Cinder, Glance, Rabbit MQ, and clustered My SQL using Galera
Experience building and operating Kubernetes clusters, including expertise in kubeadm, Argo Rollouts, Argo CD, Cilium (for network egress enforcement)

Additional Desired Experience:

Hashicorp vault administration
Stackstorm administration
Net App Trident storage for Kubernetes
Postgres
Python scripting
GCP (or other enterprise Cloud service AWS/Azure)
PGO (Kubernetes Postgres Operator)

Education

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline plus 5+ years of experience or any combination of education and/or experience is required.

Certifications

Prefer Red Hat Certified Engineer credential (or similar). Redhat Certified Architect credential (or similar) preferred. Other useful certification include Openstack from Red Hat, Mirantis or similar organization.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the incumbent to sit, stand and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
