Commercial Executive - Davy Select

About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Davy Select department for a Commercial Executive.
Reporting to the Managing Director this role will suit a candidate looking to gain commercial experience in the wealth management sector. Responsibilities include organising the communication, research and proposition activities of the department, in conjunction with channel leaders, and overseeing execution to the highest risk and compliance standards.
The multi-disciplinary role will require the successful candidate to work with team members and internal stakeholders, requiring commercial acumen and strong organisational skills .
The Commercial Executive will support the departments’ execution of commercial and communication plans including:
Direct Channels
- Customer research - documenting the profile of the categories of clients including type and frequency of activity, usage of our platform, trading patterns, evolving trends, with the assistance of internal investment and data and analytics teams.
- Market Research of the Direct Trading market including traditional players, fintech and neobank participants and our current place in that market.
- Participation in strategic planning for the Direct channel.
- Co-ordination and project participation in any proposition or product improvement initiatives.
- Participation in Business Change projects as required.
- Implementation of NPS/Voice of client surveys .
- Issuing client communications as required, adhering to process controls and marketing disclosure requirements.
Intermediary Channel
- Working with the Head of Intermediary business managing our contractual documentation of intermediary relationships, including intermediary register, quarterly audit and annual declaration processes.
- Management of a CRM database with Intermediary firms and employee data.
- Organisation and management of Intermediary Webinars and Seminars.
- Issuing intermediary communications as required adhering to process controls and marketing disclosure requirements.
All Channels
Marketing Support
- Acting as the link between Davy Select and the Davy Marketing dept in relation to Davy Select events, collateral, campaigns, website changes, campaigns.
- Acting as the link between Davy Select and the Data and Analytics dept in relation to Commercial MI. Development and delivery of monthly commercial KPI reporting and new dashboards as required.
- Social media monitoring and interaction
- Periodic reviews of all publicly available Davy Select documents.
- First line check for regulatory disclosures on all locally generated content.
Organisation of Davy Select monthly Anchor Day meeting and presenters.
Participation and organisation of monthly Davy Select management meetings.
Requirements
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
- Self-starter who is motivated with high energy and an excellent team ethic and a great attitude
- Relevant qualification: Business/Marketing/Communications and QFA
- Knowledge of and experience in the retail Wealth Management sector, in a commercial business unit is desirable
- Marketing and/or Communications experience is desirable
- Extremely organised and an ability to prioritise high value-added tasks.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.
- Communication, relationship management and presentation skills.
- Willingness to work as part of multi-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment.
