Communications and Administration Executive

Job Overview:
Jump Agrade is a social enterprise dedicated to improving education outcomes for young people from underrepresented groups. Since its inception in 2017, we have worked with 100+ schools across Ireland, particularly in DEIS-designated areas, providing over 2,700 students with supplementary tuition aimed at improving academic attainment and progression rates to higher and further education and training. To help us achieve our ambitious goals, we are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications and Administration Executive to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a non-profit environment, developing relationships with schools, tutors, students, universities, and funders. You will manage communications, create marketing materials, and support administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Communications:
  • Internal and External Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with our community including our partner schools, parents, tutors, and students.
  • Content Creation: Develop newsletters, presentations, video content (e.g., impact stories), and social media content.
  • Fundraising – support the design and development of fundraising campaigns for our partner schools including online campaigns and events.
  • Branding Strategy: Lead and enhance Jump Agrade’s brand awareness and messaging.
  • Marketing: Build materials that engage potential partners and new schools.
Administration:
  • Query Management: Address student and tutor queries and support feedback processes.
  • Financial Admin Support: Assist with invoicing, tracking payments, and maintaining administrative records.
  • Recruitment admin support including Garda vetting.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency with tools like Canva to develop creative content.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Digital & Social Media Savvy: Experience creating engaging social media, video and marketing content.
  • Attention to Detail: High standard of accuracy in admin tasks and communications.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Flexible and entrepreneurial: Working with a small team with big ambitions!
  • Passion for Education: Enthusiasm for Jump Agrade's mission of improving educational equity.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience in a non-profit or educational setting is a plus.
  • Degree in digital marketing or communications
Salary: 30K pro-rata
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term, Graduate
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to €30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
