Digital Communications Lead

MRCI works to advance the rights of migrant workers and their families at risk of exploitation, social exclusion, and discrimination. Founded in 2001, we work at the intersection of the labour market and immigration system, in low-paid, precarious sectors of employment - homecare, agri-food, cleaning and in restaurants. We work to empower people at risk of exploitation, bullying and harassment to take collective action to deliver their rights.
Digital Communications Lead - Job description
The Digital Communications Lead is responsible for developing, implementing and managing MRCI’s digital communications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Digital content creation
- Social media management and engagement
- Website content management
- Digital campaigning, advertising and reporting
- Email campaigning and reporting
Essential:
- Proven experience in digital communications, social media management, messaging and content creation
- Direct experience with online advertising tools and digital analytics
- High level of computer literacy including MS Office and Word Press or similar CMS
- Experience of communicating and campaigning through an email marketing system
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or related field.
- Experience of database management and CRM software, preferably Salesforce
- Experience working in the not-for-profit sector
- Creation of visual content – graphics and video
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and the ability to think strategically about digital communication initiatives
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to manage a complex workload
- Commitment to anti-racism, equality, and values of the MRCI
- Salary range of €42,800 - €45,800 based on experience (negotiable)
- Full time 5 days, 35 hours per week
- This is a hybrid working role with some days per week required in office
- 25 days annual leave
- A diverse working environment with flexible and supportive working arrangements
- Pension contribution of 5% of salary to a PRSA
