We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that deliveries are on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Project Planning and Management:**
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and direct construction activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance.
2. **Team Leadership:**
- Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Schedule and conduct regular project meetings, ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders.
- Provide direction and support to project teams, resolving conflicts and performance issues as necessary.
3. **Budget and Cost Management:**
- Prepare and manage project budgets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain financial integrity.
- Review and approve contractor invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness before payment.
4. **Quality Control and Compliance:**
- Monitor construction processes to ensure quality standards are met and that projects adhere to safety regulations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify progress and compliance with specifications and standards.
5. **Stakeholder Management:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure expectations are understood and met.
6. **Risk Management:**
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to the project workflow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience in managing multiple large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and regulations in Ireland.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Auto CAD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
