About the Role
Base Location: Dublin (we have a hybrid working pattern but cannot offer fully remote roles)
Salary: €40,800 - €61,200 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 10-month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
What is the Role?
Our Data Analyst will provide insight and analysis, delivering tangible business value across the SSE Airtricity business. You’ll be working within a dynamic team of Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Data Engineers, based in Dublin. In this role you will:

• Liaise with business stakeholders to gather and document key functional and non-functional requirements of identified analytics assets e.g. regulatory, commercial, financial and sales reports and dashboards. This is to ensure that the assets built meet the business need / solve the business problem.

• Develop new, and maintain and enhance existing analyses, reports, dashboards and other insights delivered to the customer directly or through a Business Intelligence platform (e.g. Power BI). These items will inform and support key business decisions and actions to deliver budget performance and incremental benefit.

• Explore new and improved ways to ensure data accuracy, progress automation of existing processes and reduce manual data processing within the analytics team and broader business.

• Support day to day delivery of customer-facing marketing campaigns and communications as required to ensure marketing and regulatory communication (e.g. price change) objectives are met.

• Implement best practice data management and data governance techniques. Integrate data quality rules and standards into assets to enable monitoring and reporting on data quality metrics.

What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

• A BSc or above in a quantitative field (Computer Science / Applied Science / Engineering / Maths).

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, where you have demonstrated stakeholder engagement, data gathering, data compilation, data quality checking, automating manual tasks and report delivery within deadlines.

• A high attention to detail regarding analyses / output checking.

• Knowledge of utility industry data entities (e.g. M/GPRN, fixed term contracts, market messages etc.) and their relationship(s) would be advantageous.

• Skills in database querying using SQL and experience using analytics tools such as Python or R. Power BI or similar visualisation tool knowledge would also be an advantage.
