Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Our Client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to deliver technical support to our customers in the Clinical, Medical and Pharmaceutical sectors.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of a regional team of collaborative Field Service Engineers, reporting directly to the Service Manager. You are expected to work to the highest standards to ensure first class service is delivered to our customer base while ensuring quality and regulatory standards are adhered to in this heavily regulated industry
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be able to work independently and will be used to working at an advanced technical level to provide expert advice & solutions to customers and colleagues.
Provide field-based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues in line with relevant training and experience.
You will carry out preventative maintenance, installation, relocation, repairs and corrective field change orders on our instrumentation.
You will be responsible for diagnosing electrical, fluidic, mechanical, hardware, software and laser failures using established procedures and techniques.
In this role, you will be based from their office in Naas, primarily covering 32 Counties. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. As they do offer Nationwide Emergency out of hours support there is a requirement to be available to work outside of standard hours as part of an On Call roster.
Key Skills and Competencies:
In this role, you should have the following skills are desired but not essential as full training will be provided.

• Degree/Diploma in Electronic/Biomedical Engineering or relevant experience as a Field Service Engineer is an advantage.
• Experience working in the Robotics, Automation or Medical Devices industries
• Logical problem solver with the ability to work independently
• Knowledge of carrying out corrective and preventative works
• Recognize new technologies and adapts to daily challenges
• Deliver high levels of customer service
• Competent in IT
• Full driving license

Salary is based on Experience. Full Manufacturer training will be provided.
