Offering a diverse portfolio of flexible delivery, returns, including label-less returns, click & collect, e-commerce, and logistic business solutions, nationwide, and internationally.
Due to continued growth, Fastway is seeking a full-time, positive individual to join our team in Greenogue as Financial Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise external audit timetable with auditors.
- Manage audit work program and audit queries so that all requests are dealt with in a timely way.
- Implementation of internal control recommendations.
- Preparation of final statutory accounts for filing.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations - monthly
- Review and authorise bank payments ensuring correct approvals have been obtained.
- Identify and implement ongoing process improvements.
- Ensure accounts are prepared in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure tax, audit and statutory compliance.
- Maintain and update the Accounting software and chart of accounts
- First point of contact for bank and investors
- Dealing with queries
- 2+ years qualified in Accounting (ACCA/ACA)
- Consolidation desirable
- Account reconciliation experience desirable
