General Manager
Base Wood Fired Pizza is one of the leading and expanding restaurant chains in the industry, proudly serving restaurant quality Neopolitan style pizza for sit-in, collection and take away / delivery customers. The quality of our product, cooked in wood fired ovens, is very important to us, where every single ingredient we use is of the highest quality and range. We always aim to match the quality of our product with the high level customer care we provide.
We are currently looking to recruit a hands-on General Manager for one of our stores.
Job Role
· Approachable and a role model who leads by example and encourages teamwork
· Ensuring that customers are given a prompt, efficient and expectations are consistently exceeded
· To assess employee performance, recognize potential and meet training needs as appropriate
· Ensure the compliance of the store to all legislation including HACCP, Health and Safety and Food Safety
· Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working
· Managing of staff Rostering
· Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver business objectives, KPI's and Targets
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
· 1 + year experience in a managerial role in a fast-paced environment, ideally high-end take away the concept ,and experience in a take away business preferably a Pizza Business .
· Previous customer service experience essential
· Excellent people management skills
· Driven with a strong work ethic
· Excellent communication skills
· Must be organised with good attention to detail
· Must be passionate, self-motivated and work off own initiative
