We recognise that our greatest assets are the amazing staff that we work with here in Clonmel and we are currently looking to expand our team of bottling line operators.
It is the objective of the line operators to ensure that all products are packed to the highest standards and in accordance with Merrys policies, procedures, quality standards (BRC, HSE ) and food safety plan (HACCP) and threat analysis FIRST training (VACCP) and our Food Safety Culture Plan.
Complies with our TAYGO SYSTEM – Tidy as you go – ensures all workstations are tidy during the day and is cleaned/washed and sanitised down at the end of each day. Vital too, is that everyone plays their part in keeping canteen, toilets and locker rooms clean and tidy at all times.
It is the objective of the Manufacturing Operator to ensure that all products are manufactured to the highest standards and in accordance with Merrys and customers policies, procedures, quality standards (BRC, HSE) and food safety plan (HACCP) and VACCP study – FIRST Training video.
Position Objective:
It is objective of the Manufacturing Operator to ensure that product is manufactured in accordance with Merrys food safety and quality Policies, Standards and Procedures. Also to ensure the quality, legality and safety of the product is maintained at all times.
Position Responsibilities:
As Manufacturing Operative it is his/her function to ensure:

• Compliance and commitment to food safety, quality standards (BRC and HSE) and manufacturing of good quality, food safe, authentic, legal products.

· Equipment is maintained according to preventative maintenance schedule and associated records are completed.
· Ensure whiskey is filtered in accordance with customers and Merrys specifications.
· Products are manufactured in accordance to Merrys and customers specifications.
· Correct stock rotation of all raw ingredients – apply received date to all raw ingredients for stock rotation purposes.
· Correct quantities in accordance with recipes. Should a discrepancy occur, inform the Manufacturing Manager as soon as possible.
· Cleanliness of equipment and assigned area. Sanitization of Machines. Ensure C.I.P is carried out in accordance with procedures.
· completion of, good received notes (GRNs), conductivity records, cleaning certificates, cleaning records and preventative maintenance records etc
· Product safety is never jeopardised during maintenance work or repair work. Ensure QA sign off on all maintenance work.
· Report any incidents of non conformities to the quality control department e.g. raw materials non conforming.
· Traceability is maintained at all times. Ensure all ingredients are kept in original labelled container. Always ensure to cover ingredients are all times.
· Hygiene policy, GMP and allergen policy is maintained at all times.
