Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of structural steel and mechanical components.
- Handle and move steel materials, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques.
- Support qualified tradespeople in welding, bolting, and fitting tasks.
- Operate machinery and tools such as drills, grinders, and saws to cut, shape, and fit metal components.
- Load and unload deliveries of steel and other materials.
- Ensure that all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace and adhere to housekeeping standards.
- Perform general labouring duties on-site as required.
- Conduct routine checks on tools, equipment, and machines to ensure they are in good working order.
- Assist in quality control, ensuring all structures meet industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, particularly those used in steel fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings (an advantage but not essential).
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in various environments, including outdoor construction sites and workshops.

Experience:
