General Operative

The Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, and dispatching equipment, as well as maintaining a clean and organised workplace. Some Van driving will also be included.
This position may include occasional international travel; applicants must be willing and prepared to travel internationally as required.
Responsibilities

Receiving, Storing and dispatching of Goods/ Equipment
Loading and Unloading of company vehicles.
Van Driving equipment to Job Sites.
Store Equipment in designated areas.
Ensure all equipment is correctly labeled and securely loaded onto company vehicles.
Assist in stock replenishment.
Load goods onto delivery vehicles, ensuring safe and secure transport.
Assisting with the cleaning and up keep of Ob Trucks and Vans.
Warehouse Maintenance
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free of hazards.
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and in accordance with training.
Health and Safety
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.

Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred. ( not essential )
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations.
Ability to lift and move heavy & awkward items.
Good time management skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Driving Licence is essential. As van driving will be required.

Desired Skills

Forklift certification ( desirable ) Not essential

Monday to Friday
