General Operative

General Operatives required for our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Birr, Co Offaly to carry out product assembly roles. These roles are on an initial 6 month contract with a view to permanency for the right candidates.
These roles will be on day shift but there is a requirement to be available to work 2, 3 and 4 cycle shift and weekends if required (shift work not expected for these roles but possible in the future).
1 years recent experience in a manufacturing environment is desired for these roles, and candidates matching this criteria will receive priority. Candidates with no previous experience will also be considered.
Candidates must have fluent English so as to be able to fully understand written instruction, documentation and read drawings. Candidates must also be resident in Ireland and available to start in January, and have the required authorisation to do so.
Full manual handling training is provided as part of induction and these roles are suitable for all ages/genders.
Start date: January 6th or 13th, 2025
Contract length: 6 months
Job Type: Fixed term
Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
