General Operative / Order Picker required for busy engineering company.
Duties are varied and interesting an may include but not limited to:

• Site work
• Unloading, sorting, maintaining and loading stock
• Get orders ready for customers
• Site work associated with structural steel and mechanical engineering.
• Transporting equipment and stock to site.
• Deliveries
• Assisting metal fabricators in workshop
• Keeping yard and store tidy and organised

Key requirements:

• Full clean drivers licence and good sense of direction essential ( B - Car/van minimum, EB, EC a distinct advantage)
• Must be comfortable with technology (use of gps/sat nav/ coordinates, mobile phones, whatsapp)
• In date safepass, manual handling required.
• Must be able to use a measuring tape ( be able to understand mm, m)
• Must be able to work on own initiative
• Must be comfortable with filling out dockets and timesheets.
• Common sense
• Good geographical knowledge of Ireland
• An interest/experience in engineering or steel work

Desirable:

• Previous experience
• Any other qualifications/certs/tickets
• Extra categories on drivers licence (EB, EC etc)

On site Monday - Friday (7.30am to 5pm)
