AMF Ventures are seeking a Group Operations Manager. This is a senior role based in the group Headquarters in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15.
This role will report directly to the COO and CEO of the group. They will be responsible to manage different departments/business units within the group of companies, with each department manager reporting directly to them.

Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
- Provide leadership specific to group operations, ensuring seamless coordination and execution across departments that handle production, supply chain logistics, distribution, and sales within an FMCG environment.
2. Process Optimization :
- Analyze existing operational processes for inefficiencies or bottlenecks specifically related to customer service, quality control, inventory management etc.
- Implement improvements in workflow, productivity specific to production deadlines/speed , quality control standards unique to the business operations.
3. Performance Management
- Set KPIs for each department/unit tailored towards business objectives.
- Monitor performance metrics focusing on customer service times, order accuracy, customer retention and growth.
conduct regular performance reviews with department heads/teams addressing unique challenges and implementing improvements to remove these challenges.
4. Resource Allocation & Budgeting relevant only within FCNG
- Collaborate with finance teams to develop annual budgets based on operational needs
-Allocate resources effectively across different business units/departments while maintaining cost-control measures relevant solely towards meeting FCNF demand dynamics
5. Compliance & Risk Management peculiarly associated witihin fcng sector
Ensure all operations comply with legal regulations pertinent solely towardthe fcmg industry safety protocols etc
Implement risk management strategies tailoring them exclusively toward addressing risks commonly prevalent onlywithin fcmg organizations
6.Supplier & Vendor Management focused
Oversee relationships with suppliers/vendors ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining cost-efficiency
7.Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Drive a culture of continuous improvement through lean methodologies or other process optimization practices
Requirements:
-Proven experience (5+ years) in an operations management role overseeing multiple business units/departments within a complex organization operating in a number of different business sectors.
-Strong leadership skills including mentoring/coaching abilities and the ability to develop teams within the organization.
-Excellent analytical skills; ability identifying problems/opportunities quickly and implement corrective actions.
-Exceptional communication skills; ability conveying information effectively at all organizational levels.
