RFC Security Group is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join its dynamic team in Dublin. This role will focus on ensuring the highest safety standards across a diverse range of projects. If you have a strong background in Health & Safety, this is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the largest projects in Ireland and Europe.
Responsibilities:
· Assist the Health & Safety lead in ensuring full compliance with all relevant Health, Safety & Workplace legislation.
· Develop and manage risk assessments and method statements.
· Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide training and communication to site personnel.
· Report and investigate incidents, ensuring root causes are identified, mitigated, and communicated effectively.
· Deliver scheduled Toolbox Talks to communicate Safety Alerts.
· Ensure timely completion and recording of statutory forms and inspections.
· Provide EHS project and documentation support.
· Advise site management on training and first aid requirements for the project.
· Maintain and audit Health & Safety documentation, including Subcontractor H&S documents and insurance policies.
· Conduct risk assessments, and hazard identification, and participate in management meetings on EHS issues.
· Coordinate and deliver EHS-related training, and staff inductions, and ensure compliance with legal and ISO standards.
Requirements:
· Qualifications: Third-level qualification in Health & Safety or a related field.
· Experience: 3-4+ years in a similar role
Skills:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to deliver training and manage multiple tasks.
· IT skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro).
· Full B driving license.
· Ability to work independently and proactively with attention to detail.
· Flexible, adaptable to change, and open to constructive feedback.
Benefits:
· Salary range: €45,000 to €50,000 DOE.
