The Peppard Group is currently recruiting for the above position for an immediate start at its Cork City office.
The Peppard Group successfully works across a number of sectors including, property development, property management, emergency reception & orientation centres, Ukrainian refugee accommodation and nursing homes.
We operate centrally as a small focussed team in conjunction with a number of specialists and look to each team member in their roles to support the continued growth and success of The Peppard Group.
Purpose and Role Responsibilities:
· Support the strategic growth of The Peppard Group through strong working relationships both within the team and all relevant stakeholders ensuring project goals are met.
· Ensure the Peppard Groups HR function is fully effective and compliant at our Cork HQ with a close liaison with the Dublin based team and at all centres and location its companies operate in throughout the Republic of Ireland.
· Undertake an active HR function on behalf of the full Peppard Investments Group with the support of our established outsourced HR consultancy and documentation provider
· Be directly involved in day to day operations in the execution of HR related tasks across The Peppard Group.
· Uphold HR policies, maintain the Company Handbook, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
· Maintain accurate records of all types of leave including sickness, absence, annual leave, and maternity/paternity leave.
· Assist in performance reviews with line managers with a view to maximising potential and obtaining job satisfaction.
· Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relation matters, including disciplinary actions, performance management, and conflict resolution while maintaining positive employee relations.
· Be innovative and drive quality in standards, by proposing solutions which are sustainable and allow the organisation to grow in a responsible manner – for example GDPR,.
· Complete HR projects as reasonably requested by senior management.
· Undertake other duties / tasks as deemed appropriate.
Key Candidate Requirements:
· A proven knowledge of dealing with all aspects of the HR function while working as part of a team with our outsource HR support partner.
· A knowledge of the Nursing Home sector would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, networking, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsets.
  • Excellent practical people skills with the ability to conduct thorough research using a range of techniques.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and e-Learning.
· At least 5 years’ experience in this / similar role.
Role Opportunities:
