Principle Objective
Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day HR Operational issues nationally. The successful appointee will be instrumental in developing a world class HR Operations Team.
Main Objectives
Reporting to the HR Director, the Human Resources Operations Manager is responsible for leading the HR Team.
- HR Operations / Business Support / Employee Relations / integration / training
- Attract talent / recruitment / communication
- Administrative management / HRIS / payroll
- Building management, suppliers, canteen, supplies, H & S
Knowledge & Experience
- Third level qualification in HR/IR/ER; or equivalent CIPD qualification desirable
- 5 years’ HR experience preferably within a multi-site location, 3 years + at management level
- Experiences in development and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Irish employment law
- Demonstrable experience in Employee Relations specifically consultation and union negotiations.
- Leadership
- Work closely with the HR Director to:
- Develop and implement a new HR vision to facilitate the development of human capital within the company
- Set, review and monitor the HR/ER annual budgets.
- Lead and inspire the HR team to deliver and excel on our HR Business Plan.
- Develop and support the HR team on:
- Leadership development
- Employee relations
- Prepare reports for management and leadership team when required.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for improvement within the HR function to support the business in the context of business growth, change management and talent development and retention.
- Develop and implement people solutions to support the HR strategy plan
- Proactively source new development opportunities to ensure you are kept up to date with the most recent industry and legislative advances.
- Updating Company policies and procedures when required.
- Management and reporting of HR KPI’s on a monthly basis.
- Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with external suppliers to ensure we have competitive benefits packages for our business and colleagues.
- Manage the relationships with your team, peers and line manager to build a bond of trust within company
- Take charge of the construction of HR management tools, communication and coaching teams in Dublin
- Actively participate in cross-functional HR projects at Group level
- Employee Relations
- Support the HR People Agenda including being a driver of engagement through management and analysis of our internal engagement survey.
- Support and coach management teams to deliver consistent and fair procedures in relation to industrial/ employee relations.
- Be the point of contact for Regional Directors and Branch Managers to support Chadwicks people agenda
- Ensure we give down to earth, straight forward advice and support to all management teams and colleagues.
