Legal Assistant - Health & Prosecutions

We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of Irish business-related law and with particular focus on the Energy, Technology, Financial Services, Built Environment, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Charities sectors.
We are currently looking to recruit a Legal Assistant for our Health Prosecutions Team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To work as part of the team providing legal administrative support and management of busy workflow, including team projects;

Assist with high volume of weekly court case preparation, attending court to assist solicitors and subsequent court follow up;
-
Preparing legal documents from precedents and issuing finalised documents as instructed;
-
Ensuring legal diaries, trackers and case management systems are accurate and consistently maintained;
-
Comprehends and adheres to team processes and procedures;
-
Responds flexibly and appropriately to team requirements with an understanding of prioritisation and urgency;
-
Carrying out legal research;
-
Communicates queries/issues promptly to Admin Lead.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Availability to commit to at least a 12 month contract;
-
Experience supporting a large team in a busy environment;
-
IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point);
-
Demonstrates flexibility, an interest in wanting to learn and proactively contributes to the team;
-
Excellent prioritisation skills with ability to multi-task;
-
Experience in drafting legal documents with ability to understand and interpret legal processes;
-
Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail;
-
Ability to be pro-active, work under pressure and meet deadlines;
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
-
Confident with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
