The Company
Cooper Developments is a property investment and development company based in Limerick. It has a large number of investment properties throughout Ireland and has recently commenced construction on a housing development on the Greenpark site Limerick, which has planning for 371 residential units, with a number of projects in the pipeline.
The Role
Cooper Developments is now seeking applicants for a permanent role for the position of Office Administrator located on site at Greenpark, Dock Road, Limerick. Working closely with and reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate, who is interested in working in a busy commercial environment as part of a small team within the Property / Construction sector.
The specific duties include (non-exhaustive list):
Ø Take responsibility for managing the administration through all aspects of the house sales process for our Greenpark development.
Ø Preparation and lodgement of registrations / applications to facilitate development works and sales including but not limited to Homebond, An Post (Eircode), Development Waiver Scheme, Irish Water refunds, Help to Buy and utility providers.
Ø Liaising with the company’s appointed marketing agents to arrange future sales events and to ensure company websites are maintained up to date.
Ø Processing timesheets for site based employees and advising payroll of same.
Ø Assisting the Managing Director and appointed property agents in re-letting commercial premises as they become vacant.
Ø Assisting the development team in preparing and lodging future planning applications on various development sites.
Ø Assisting the Managing Director with general administration duties.
Ø Other duties as and when required by the MD.
The Person
The following mix of experience and attributes will be required by the successful candidate:
Ø Possess sound commercial acumen, good attention to detail and strong IT skills (including using the Microsoft Office Suite).
Ø Possess excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
Ø Experience in a similar co-ordination / administration role within the property / construction sector would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential.
Ø Be adaptable and flexible to new challenges.
Ø An ability to operate in a team environment and be a team player is essential.
Ø Must be currently eligible to work in Ireland.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €34,000.00-€39,000.00 per year
