The Fitzwilliam hotel has an exciting new opportunity for an Office Administrator to support the HR team.
The purpose of this role is to assist the HR team with supporting the business for the full employee life cycle, from on-boarding through to end of employment, specifically the administrative tasks required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain HRIS platforms, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
- Provide general administrative support to HR team, Including scheduling meetings & managing calendars.
- Update HR systems with employee changes, such as new hires, promotions, transfers & leavers.
- Employee file management and maintenance.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security settings in HRIS systems.
- Ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements and conduct regular data audits.
- Support the on-boarding process of new starters, including communication, new hire paperwork, uniforms and first day induction
- Generate HR reports to support decision-making for the HR team.
- Coordinate training records and update the training record system.
- Assist with coordinating information for weekly payroll by collecting and coordinating employee starter forms and ensure accurate record management is maintained (including absenteeism, annual leave, etc) .
- Assist in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Responsible for uniform stockroom and maintain supplies; also manage the locker tracker.
- Prepare HR documents, such as change in details, confirmation of employment letters, etc.
- Work with the HR team to support employee engagement initiatives and other HR projects.
- Support with HR projects and initiatives and work together with cross functional support for other teams within the company e.g. Great Place to Work, Green and H&S Teams.
In this role you will gain:

- An in-depth overview of the the full range of Human Resources i.e. Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, general HR admin and support, learning & development.
- The ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the culture and employee experience.
The ideal candidate:
- Has at least 1 years experience in a similar fast-paced role
- Excellent attention to detail is crucial in this role
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Power Point) and the ability to quickly learn new software systems
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English
- Good numeracy skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Is able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work off own initiative and self-manage
- Displays a passion for creating a good employee experience
- Positive attitude to work and is eager to learn and develop new skills
- Is ambitious and willing to learn
