Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operational requirements and service levels are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organise teams to meet operational requirements and service levels.
- Identify training needs and implement plans to address them.
- Manage team members to maintain high working standards.
- Solve problems effectively and ensure teams are fully trained and compliant with health and safety policies, including manual handling and fire evacuation procedures.
- Oversee shift Health and Safety issues in line with company guidelines.
- Manage temporary employees by monitoring performance, providing briefings, and motivating them to meet performance criteria.
- Develop and maintain effective local working relationships within company procedures and policies.
- Handle daily reporting and scheduling as necessary.
- Follow and implement company policies and procedures.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
- A commercially acceptable level of English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in computer use (Excel, Email, Reporting platforms, CRM systems).
- At least 3 years of previous management experience.
- Excellent timekeeping and safety awareness.
- Knowledge of Irish geography and specific depot coverage areas.
- Previous experience in the logistics industry.
- Strong problem-solving and people management skills.
- Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Certification.
- Experience in people development.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 9:00 pm - 6:30 am
Salary: €35,000 - €40,000
