The Position
The Iveagh Trust is recruiting an experienced painter to join our expanding in-house repairs and maintenance team, for interior and exterior jobs. The successful applicant will work on a variety of projects in residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Small touch ups
- Large scale interior & exterior painting jobs
- Refurbishment of Iveagh Trust residential properties prior to re-letting
- Project work on our heritage building e.g. windows
- Ensuring properties can be made available for letting within target timelines
- Cleaning and treating mould from time to time
- Maintain accurate records work activities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Implement and promote best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Punctuality
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to meet deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Ability to interact with co-workers, estate management & Iveagh Trust tenants
Essential
- 3 years proven experience
- Good knowledge of painting and decorating in a residential setting
- Manual handling / working at height training or willing to attend training course
- Fluent English
- Relevant qualification / apprenticeship
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between properties as required (within Dublin City & County).
- Own transport preferable and mileage is payable at civil service rates
- Annual Leave – 22 days – increasing with service to 25 days.
- 39 hours per week
