We have a fantastic new vacancy for Part Time Bar Staff in the excellent 4 Star Claregalway Hotel.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To report for duty on time and in the correctly presented and appropriate uniform.
• To ensure that all areas in your department are kept clean at all times. All areas must be maintained and organised as per departmental standards.
• To serve guests their orders promptly and courteously
• To ensure proper garnishing of drinks
• To processes guest bills accurately
• To ensure that the working area and station is stocked and kept clean and tidy at all times
• To ensure the security of stock at all times
• To maintain a thorough working knowledge of the bar menu, wine and beer list, along with the contents of drinks to be able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly.
• To adhere to the Responsible Service of Alcohol policy
• To ensure that the guests needs and requirements are met in a friendly manner at all times.
• To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
• To ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and other persons on the premises.
• To attend fire drills and ensure you are aware of procedures.
• To observe all health & safety procedures and rules.
• To report and where possible take action on incidents of accidents or damage. All incidents need to be reported to the Departmental manger you are working under.
• To attend all training courses as notified to you.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties as may be notified to you by management.
• To be honest and trust worthy at all times.
• To accept flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel Guests.
• Perform other reasonable duties as required.

Requirements:

• Experience in a Bar role in the hospitality industry, preferred
• Full training will be given if necessary
• Customer focus.
• Attention to detail.
• Ambition to develop.
• Excellent level of English both oral and written
• Must be available to work both midweek and weekends

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €12.70 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
