We are currently inviting applications for a Production Assistant to join our Production Team. This will involve the slicing, packaging, weighing and labelling of sliced cooked and cured Italian meats, cheeses and olives.


Role Purpose:
To establish and maintain an excellent product and service to our customers.


Key Activities:
Slicing, packaging, weighing and labelling of sliced cooked and cured Italian meats, cheeses and olives.
Prepare prepacked goods to best practice and maximum yields.
Assist in Production planning, Stock Control and Stock Rotation
Follow and comply with all standards of practice and quality checks as required.
Uphold and enhance Health and Safety standards, including cleanliness, food safety and hygiene.
Operate the clean as you go policy, daily cleaning as per the schedule in place.
Participate in Food Safety Level 2 and HACCP training, which will be provided by the company.
Daily maintenance and deep clean as required.


Experience and Skills:
Experience is preferred, for example Deli-Counter/Food Service or Production. However, this is not essential as training will be provided.
Training in Food Safety and HACCP is preferrable, but not essential.


Hours:
The shift is 6am -2.30pm Monday to Friday
