Professional Waiter/ Waitress

Extremely popular and well known restaurant and pub is looking to recruit Professional Waiters and Waitresses.
This position is for those that are passionate about the hospitality industry and want to make service their career.

Responsibilities
  • Show customers to their seats and present our variety of menu options
  • Advise on the best food and drink choices for each customer and answer questions
  • Take orders and deliver them to the table deftly and accurately
  • Attend to the tables and guarantee compliance to cleanliness standards
  • Check the quality of the final servings and resolve any issues
  • Work with other staff as a team
  • Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality
  • Able to advise on cocktails and wines
Requirements
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction
  • Customer-oriented and planning skills
  • Working knowledge of cash register and any ordering information system (Training provided)
  • Outstanding people skills
  • Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving
  • Food safety training a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: €12.70-€13.50 per hour

Schedule:
  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Crumlin, Dublin, CO. Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • Customer service: 2 years (required)
  • sommelier: 1 year (preferred)
  • Waitering: 2 years (required)
Language:
  • English (required)
