Having just celebrated 20 years in business, Tom Sheridan’s Bar has become an integral part of community life in the Knocknacarra area, supporting many local societies, charities, and sports clubs.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team .
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service is delivered at all times, addressing customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Staff Management: Supervise and lead waiting staff.
• Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of special events, private parties, and promotions, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service, conducting regular checks and providing feedback to kitchen staff as needed.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth coordination of service and timely delivery of food and drinks.
• Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively resolve any issues that arise during service, ensuring minimal disruption to the guest experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant, bar, or gastropub setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
• A customer-focused attitude with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional service.
