One of Ireland's leading distribution company is searching for an experienced driver—a dependable individual who can deliver a first-class service to meet their needs.
In this role, the successful candidate will perform multi-drop deliveries, with prior experience preferred. Experience operating HGVs on Irish roads is also advantageous. Flexibility is essential due to changing business hours, along with a strong focus on customer service, strict adherence to all legal and company regulations to ensure a first-class service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-use checks on all vehicles, ensuring compliance with appropriate documentation and procedures.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, using equipment safely following all operating procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
- Complete all scheduled collections and deliveries, providing efficient and effective service to customers.
- Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and daily debriefs.
- Fully cooperate with all company measures to ensure the Health, Safety, and Welfare of co-employees and members of the public.
- License: Valid Rigid Driving License (Category C) is required.
- CPC and Tachograph Card: Up to date.
- Manual Handling Training (preferable)
- Must be available to work in the Munster region.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting
- Conduct basic truck maintenance checks.
