As a Sales Apprentice, you will embark on a rewarding journey to become a key contributor to our sales team, supporting our mission to expand clean energy solutions to clients across Residential, Commercial, and Agricultural sectors. This apprenticeship offers a blend of on-the-job training & administrative training as well as formal learning, enabling you to gain the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in renewable energy sales. Under the guidance of experienced sales professionals, you will learn to identify client needs, promote our products, and help customers make the transition to sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients interested in renewable energy solutions, specifically housing retrofit, heat pumps, electric vehicle charging installations and solar systems.
- Initiate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including homeowners, business managers and owners, contractors, architects, and local government authorities, to generate leads and promote the benefits of energy-efficient solutions.
- Provide expert guidance to clients on the technical aspects, financial benefits, and environmental advantages of implementing renewable energy solutions, tailored to their specific needs and budgetary constraints.
- Support sales representatives with ad-hoc sales administrative tasks.
- Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure accurate project planning and seamless implementation of proposed solutions, adhering to regulatory compliance and industry standards.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, while maintaining a customer-centric approach and ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the terms and conditions.
- Continuously stay updated on the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency standards, and government incentives to effectively communicate the competitive advantages of the company's products and services.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of clients, leads, and ongoing projects, utilizing CRM software to track sales activities, monitor progress, and forecast future sales trends.
- Provide exceptional post-sales support to clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries, and fostering long-term relationships to promote client retention and referrals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing materials that effectively showcase the company's renewable energy solutions and enhance brand visibility in the market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- A can-do attitude with the drive to learn & develop a career within the renewable energy industry.
- Leaving Certification or a full QQI Level 5 qualification or higher, if an international applicant, it must be equivalent or higher.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
- Proficiency in CRM software, field management software and Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and meet sales targets within designated timelines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
