Field Sales Controller
LOCATION
Field based role calling on current and off Licence Trade calls as well as convenince calls within set geographical areas.
HOURS OF WORK
Full time - 37.5hrs per week on territory.
JOB SUMMARY
You will be a key part of our ROI Commercial team calling into the established Licence Trade driving awareness of GM Marketing’s Global and Local brand portfolio. Key responsibilities will involve working as part of a team to deliver high visibility of Cult drinks Products in On-trade. Core focus for the role will be working closely with distributors to maximise sales by communicating brand messages and maximising promotional opportunities. You will be required to seek out opportunities in store and deliver results to assist in sales growth.
You are expected to work on your own initiative and build strong relationships with distributor sales reps key on trade buyers/managers and achieve additional listings and exposure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build relationships with new and current customers by following set journey plan.
- Organise and carry out sampling and promotional events/tradeshows when required.
- To ensure that all merchandising guidelines are being adhered to with emphasis on maximising promotional space.
- Record relevant sales/promotional requirements, competitor activity and provide feedback in a timely manner.
- Ensure stock is always rotated.
- Maintain listings and grow space where possible.
- Merchandise all possible areas within each on trade account.
- Capture before and after photographs on a handheld device.
- Liaise with Bar/nightclub managers on products and requirements.
- Build strong relationships with all parties to work together as a team.
- To generate new ideas and ways of working.
- To support all product launches and promotions and develop the presence.
- To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance.
- To always ensure that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager.
- Absolute awareness at all times of the delivery demands of clients and the required quality of our products/services.
- Provide general support to ROI Business unit as needed to ensure that the business runs smoothly.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating and collaborating with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management.
- Participate in all essential and required training to carry out your role efficiently and safely.
- Participate in and attend ROI Business unit meetings as required;
- Ensure that company health, safety and environmental policies are observed at all times.

Experience
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience in an FMCG environment retail or grocery or a graduate looking for 1 ST step in a sales career.
- Experience building customer relationships in store groups.
- Background in store execution, merchandising, consultative selling ideal. Hands on approach
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €30,000.00-€32,000.00 per year
