The Role
Origina is seeking a Security Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our Dublin team, to help us in this continued success and development of security capabilities. The core responsibility in this role will be to ensure the scalability of security services, supporting achievement of Origina’s operational and business targets, maintenance and enhancement of security service quality.
- Undertake the conduct of Origina’s vulnerability report process
- Coordinate the collation of threat intelligence from Open Source and CTI partners
- Manage the relationship and coordinate the collection from our Global IBM Experts
- Liaise with Origina Security SMEs to develop security knowledge bank
- Manage the maintenance and delivery of vulnerability advisory portal
- Generate monthly customer updates on vulnerability advisories
- Apply own security knowledge on best practice and experience to security risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, threat environment and implementation
- Contribute to the security service development, input and maintenance of a security knowledge base
- Remain up to date on security trends in threats, tooling, methodologies, and regulations
- Develop stakeholder engagement with SMEs and internal business units
- Stay up to date with Origina's security methodologies, and security experts, enabling the development of appropriate mitigating actions
- Advance security tickets from initial triage through to closure
About you
Successful candidates will possess:
- A minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, teamwork, and customer interaction skills
- Tech savvy with security and systems experience conducting root cause analysis via technical, business and operational engagement to implement efficient course of action
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and a flair for developing creative solutions in overcoming complex technical challenges
- Resilient and flexible mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a high-growth environment
- Strong focus on quality and risk management; situational analysis to identify, measure and record risks
- Possess experience of the collation of and/or utilisation of threat intelligence analysis and reporting including supporting / delivering a vulnerability management capability.
- Working knowledge of ISO27001, NIST framework and Cyber Assessment Framework
- A sound working knowledge of Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) project; Common Vulnerability Exposures (CVE), Common Weakness Scoring System (CWSS)
- IBM product knowledge is advantageous
