Senior Estimator

Responsibilities
· Take-off quantities from drawings using estimating software.
· Liaise with suppliers, send enquiries & collate quotes for various packages.
· Analyse package quotes & identify risk and opportunity.
· Prepare and propose cost & commercial finalisation.
· Proven track record of delivering costing and estimating management to enable the achievement of project goals and objectives
· Work with tender team providing input for all cost and commercial decisions.
Qualifications, skills & experience.
· A minimum of 2 years of experience in an estimating or Quantity Surveying role.
· Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
· Excellent IT skills required, experience of Estimating Software an advantage.
· Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret contract documents from a commercial perspective.
· Ability to work to their own initiative and have strong organisation skills.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
