Shunter/Crossdocker - Night Work

Clare Distribution Services specialise in the distribution of temperature controlled products delivering nationwide. We offer multi-drop, point to point and next day deliveries of frozen, chilled and ambient goods. We pride ourselves on building long standing relationships with all our customers as well as providing an efficient and reliable service. Affiliated with the Freight Transport Association of Ireland, we are now recognised as one of the leading temperature-controlled distributors in Ireland.
We are currently looking to recruit a Full Time Shunter to the business. Based from one of our customer sites in Midleton, Co. Cork the successful candidate will be responsible for shunting vehicles around the site, checking vehicle temperatures, checking for damage to fleet plus other general duties associated with the role.
Days/Hours of Work

Working 5 day/6day schedule

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Must have full clean CE Licence.
Be able to maintain focused while under pressure.
Ability to work on their own initiative, be self-motivated and have a dependable work methodology.
Good level of written and spoken English.
Excellent standard of reversing trucks.
