Clare Distribution Services specialise in the distribution of temperature controlled products delivering nationwide. We offer multi-drop, point to point and next day deliveries of frozen, chilled and ambient goods. Affiliated with the Freight Transport Association of Ireland, we are now recognised as one of the leading temperature-controlled distributors in Ireland.
As a Warehouse Operator on the night shift, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of our HGV trucks. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of our fleet by regularly washing and maintaining the cleanliness of the trucks. This is a night shift role with a 5-6 day work week rotation.
Key Responsibilities:

Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from HGV trucks in an efficient and accurate manner, ensuring all items are correctly handled.
Fleet Maintenance: Clean and wash trucks to maintain our high standards of hygiene and presentation for the fleet.
Warehouse Operations: Ensure that all goods are organized and stored correctly, preparing them for dispatch as required.
Health & Safety: Adhere to all company health and safety guidelines, particularly while working during night hours and around heavy machinery.
Documentation: Accurately complete any required paperwork or digital records related to shipments, inventory, and vehicle maintenance.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Experience operation a forklift.
Be able to maintain focused while under pressure.
Ability to work on their own initiative, be self-motivated and have a dependable work methodology.
Good level of written and spoken English.
Excellent attention detail.
