Position Summary:
Full time Skilled General Operative to work in our assembly area.
Role & Responsibilities
· Assemble our products to a high standard of workmanship, safety and cleanliness using drawings, standard operating procedures and verbal instructions / direction.
· Have good judgement and personal accountability of workmanship, quality and “Right first time” attitude.
· Achieve weekly targets through effective teamwork to deliver customer product on time to the required quality level.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of process and work environment using Lean manufacturing initiatives and 6s.
Experience, Qualifications and Traits
· Technical background or equal relevant experience.
· Ability to read from drawings and have excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness and manual dexterity.
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality workmanship.
· Physical and manual handling is involved with most equipment and tools.
· Knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
· Willing to commute to place of work.
· Competent in Oral and written English.
· Have relevant visa’s and work permits.
