Reach Ability are currently recruiting for Full Time Social Care Workers for our Day Service in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.


This is a full time vacancy from Monday-Friday (38 hours a week).


The successful candidate will support the Team Leader and Residential Team Leader in the following:

• To develop and implement a person-centered plan through the implementation of personal outcomes for each client promoting self-development, individuality and independence whilst ensuring that all policy and guidelines are adhered to
• Undertake the role and responsibilities or delegated responsibilities of the Team Leader in their absence.
• Coordinate and ensure the support needs of the service users are met in their daily lives

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant recognised Degree in Social Care /Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications) or equivalent qualifications
• CORU:
• Registered with the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU (evidence will be required) or
• Hold a CORU-approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence will be required) or
• Eligible for registration with the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU (evidence will be required)
• 1 year of experience working with adults with an Intellectual Disability
• Full Clean Driving License
• Be currently eligible to work in Ireland

Remuneration:


The successful candidate will be appointed on the Social Care Worker HSE Consolidated Payscales (Sept. 2008). €18.71 - €25.04 per hour depending on experience.
