POSITION TITLE: STORES – MATERIALS SPECIALIST
Reports to: Stores Team Leader
Department & Location: Hangar 5, Dublin Aerospace, Dublin Airport.
Job Purpose:
Ensure stores procedures are followed, and incoming and outgoing deliveries are processed in a timely fashion to support the efficient running of the operation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all actions are compliant with Company procedures in relation to airworthiness requirements, health & safety and environment.

• Accurate process of receipts, stock location, issuing of Dublin Aerospace & Customer materials.

• Accurately process Goods Outwards shipments to ensure timely dispatch of shipments

• Ensure IT systems are used effectively, and housekeeping maintained,

• Be prepared to undertake other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Company from time to time.

• Must be willing to achieve a Personnel Pack Approval from Quality.

• Be willing to meet drivers / visitors at Gateposts and escort them to Hangar 5 whenever required.

Core Competencies:

• Must have knowledge of inventory management and procurement process or the aptitude to quickly acquire those skills.

• Initiative and a proactive approach to achieving objectives will be key attributes for the position.

• Be a strong self-starter.

• Ability to work under pressure both in a team and alone.

• Good communication skills both written and oral together with computer literacy.

• An appreciation of the importance of material supplies to the Dublin Aerospace operation.

• Full Driving Licence required.

Essential Criteria:
· Be willing to undergo Garda Vetting and be able to pass a 5-year background check
· Have permission to live and work in Ireland without restriction
· Be willing to undergo pre-employment medical including drug screening.
· Fluent in English (written & spoken).
