Heat Merchants and Tubs & Tiles in Sandyford currently require a Stores Person for their shared stores area/warehouse.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The post holder will be responsible for looking after the combined warehouse/stores area of both the Heat Merchants and Tubs & Tiles branches in Sandyford, unloading deliveries and putting the stock away, updating paperwork and the system to accurately record stock, whilst also maintaining a high standard of customer care and housekeeping throughout the stores area.
JOB SPECIFICATION

• Unloading deliveries and putting away the stock.
• Booking in stock on the CORE ERP system, reporting any damages in timely fashion and organising return to Central Warehouse when required.
• Understand customer’s expectations and needs
• Monitor customer orders and deliveries and keep customers updated on same
• Dealing with our Trade Customers
• Resolve orders and delivery issues and take responsibility
• Assist with sales enquiries as and when required
• Participate in stock take when required
• Adherence to maintaining Health & Safety practices and Company policies and procedures
• Any other duties as reasonably requested by Management

Person Specification

Essential

• Experience of working in a stores / warehouse area in a customer focused environment
• Stock management experience
• Proficient PC user
• Forklift experience

• Must be extremely customer focused and results driven

Desirable

• Hold a current forklift licence
• ERP system/warehouse management system experience
