OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Goods Inwards: The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for unloading, labelling and putting deliveries away,
JOB SPECIFICATION

• Unloading deliveries and putting away stock
• Booking in stock on CORE ERP system, reporting any damages in timely fashion and organising return to Central Warehouse when required.
• Monitor customer orders and deliveries
• Keep customers updated on orders and deliveries
• Dealing with our Trade Customers
• Resolve order and delivery issues, and take responsibility
• Back up to main drivers during periods of annual leave
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures
• Any other duties as reasonably requested by Management

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The following criteria will be used in the selection process. Only those applicants who meet the essential criteria will be shortlisted for interview. The Company reserves the right to initially shortlist those candidates who meet both essential and desirable criteria.
Essential

• A minimum of 6 months previous experience in same or similar role to include a high degree of manual handling
• Forklift experience
• Posses a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate customer focus
• Good Team Player
• Ability to use a computer (basic level)
• Full Driver's Licence

Desirable

• Current forklift Licence
• Ride on power pallet truck experience
• Previous experience and/ or product knowledge from within the heating and plumbing industry
