Strategic Account Manager - Ireland

Your JobPhillips-Medisize is seeking a Strategic Account Manager supporting a strategic customer from multiple Phillips-Medisize Facilities. This individual will work with a cross functional team including operations, supply chain and engineering to improve the customer relationship management process and through a mutual benefit model. The role is based in Ireland.

What You Will Do
  • Function as the point of contact for a key Medtech customer for Phillips-Medisize, providing leadership on the commercial relationship.
  • Assist in the strategic development of an existing customer account.
  • Responsible for maintaining and building relationships within the customer's organization as measured through appropriate KPI's.
  • Responsible for customer surveys and / or customer feedback mechanisms.
  • Provide quarterly strategic business reviews.
  • Responsible for ensuring contracts are invoked and maintained as programs progress with the support of the relevant Program Managers and Business Unit Manager.
  • Responsible for negotiating and putting in place legal agreements.
  • Lead regular customer engagement and channel critical inputs including forecasting, demand, risks, issues and any other relevant inputs.
  • Manage pricing and project hopper process.
  • Participate in business development issues such as supply agreements, long-term agreements, cost reduction requests, cost sharing requests, pricing negotiations, account reviews, etc.
  • Identify and channel any new opportunities through appropriate account management structure.
  • Ensure supplier status is maintained appropriately and position the company to leverage the supplier status with new opportunities.
  • Promote capabilities and support other account management resources.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience conducting margin analysis.
  • Experience costing, pricing and contract management.
  • Technical experience is desirable in a contract manufacturing.

  • Customer account management experience.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of product development, contract manufacturing and associated processes.
  • Experience navigating customer relationships and proven ability to handle difficult conversations.
  • Track record in development, implementation, and achievement of customer account plans.
  • Capability to manage commercial contract and pricing negotiations.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to make decisions that drive financial and operational performance.
